I believe in great possibilities. Let’s create a ketchup brand that can dethrone Heinz.

I believe in new ideas.
Dear toilet paper companies: print logos and product styles on the cardboard rolls, and men will give a crap what they last bought.

I believe in better design.
Sometimes while perfecting an experience, basic needs like eating/breathing are painful.
If you’re the same way we should work together.

Communicate with respect and give people opportunities to deliver.
Start with heart or diminish the finish.

I’ve worked and lived in New York, San Francisco, Miami, and North Carolina.
I know cities; I know folks.

My enthusiasm for the brand experience goes beyond wireframes and whiteboards.
I care about people.

Life is but a dream.
Wherever you want to go, don’t sweat the distance — just pick up an oar and row, row, row.

I’m a Design Director with 9+ years experience leading an independent agency focused on user experience and brand content strategy.

In my spare time I design restaurants, paint, play tennis, and drink good drinks; often while holding a baby.

I’ve been fortunate enough to create work for some great clients including; Microsoft, Google, Nike, Universal, Nissan, Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, FICO, Denizen Financial / BBVD, Blackberry, Invisalign, Hilton, Rockwell Group, John Varvatos, Kanon Organic Vodka, Resin Denim, The American Red Cross, Scribe Winery, Magnolia Brewing, Thanx, Relola Real Estate Technology, Domicile Properties, University of North Carolina, and many others.

I’ve collected meaningless or prestigious awards & accolades for excellence in design, including an AIGA 20/20 Gold and a NEENAH Silver Block. My work is featured in books & journals by publishers including Gestalten, Rockport, PRINT, HOW, PURPLE, New York Magazine, The New York Times, and The San Francisco Chronicle.
